How do I get an Adplexity API key?

Every account comes with one. Log in, open the API & MCP page in the sidebar and copy your key. If you do not have an account yet, pick a platform on the pricing page.

How much does the Adplexity API cost?

It is included in every plan. Each subscription comes with 5,000 credits refreshed every month, and one ad pulled equals one credit per request. There is no separate API subscription to buy.

Which platforms does the API cover?

Every Adplexity platform on your account: Social, Native, Push, Desktop, Mobile and Adult. One key reaches all of them, and each result tells you which platform it came from.

What data does each ad include?

The creative, the ad copy and the landing pages behind it, including redirect chains, outgoing URLs, detected technologies, tracking tools and affiliate networks. A page screenshot and an archived copy of each landing page are included as well.

Can I get competitor landing pages through the API?

Yes. Landing pages are indexed by their on-page copy and returned with full post-click detail: redirect chains, outgoing URLs, tech stack and affiliate network detection. Creative-only ad APIs do not return this data.

What is the difference between the API and the MCP?

Same data, two surfaces. The REST API is built for code and automation tools. The MCP connects the same intelligence to Claude and ChatGPT so you can ask in plain language. Both draw from the same monthly credits.

Do unused credits roll over?

No. Credits refresh every month, and each billing month starts with 5,000 fresh credits.

Which endpoints are available today?

Ad search, landing page search, ad and landing page lookups, Boards export, shared boards and free dictionary endpoints for filter values. More are on the way, with the goal of matching everything the platform can do.
